Article 1 – Definitions
In these terms and conditions, the following definitions apply:
- WeddingInvite.nl: the platform of WeddingInvite.nl, established in the Netherlands.
- User: any natural or legal person using the services of WeddingInvite.nl.
- Account: the personal user account for managing a digital wedding invitation.
- Service(s): all services offered via WeddingInvite.nl, including digital wedding pages, RSVP functionality, guest management, and premium features.
Article 2 – Applicability
These terms and conditions apply to all use of WeddingInvite.nl and all agreements concluded via the platform. By using WeddingInvite.nl, the user agrees to these terms.
Article 3 – Services
WeddingInvite.nl allows users to:
- create a personal digital wedding invitation;
- manage RSVPs and guest lists;
- share information about the wedding;
- send invitations via WhatsApp, email, and more;
- use premium designs and additional features.
WeddingInvite.nl reserves the right to modify, expand, or remove features.
Article 4 – Account and Use
The user is responsible for:
- providing accurate information;
- keeping login credentials confidential;
- all activities within the account.
The platform may not be used for unlawful content, spam, misleading communications, or content contrary to applicable laws. WeddingInvite.nl may temporarily or permanently block accounts in case of abuse.
Article 5 – Payments
Some features of WeddingInvite.nl require payment or a premium package. All prices include VAT unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed via third-party payment providers. WeddingInvite.nl is not liable for errors or disruptions caused by these parties.
Article 6 – Right of Withdrawal
Since WeddingInvite.nl provides digital services that are immediately available after purchase, the user agrees that delivery begins immediately. Accordingly, the statutory right of withdrawal lapses once the service has been fully or partially used.
Article 7 – Availability
WeddingInvite.nl aims to maintain a reliable and accessible platform, but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, updates, or technical issues may temporarily affect the platform.
Article 8 – Liability
WeddingInvite.nl is only liable for direct damages resulting from intent or gross negligence. WeddingInvite.nl is not liable for:
- loss of data;
- missed RSVPs;
- disruptions of third-party services;
- damage resulting from misuse of the platform.
Total liability is always limited to the amount paid by the user for the service.
Article 9 – Intellectual Property
All designs, software, texts, branding, and features of WeddingInvite.nl remain the property of WeddingInvite.nl. Copying, distributing, or commercially using any part of the platform without written permission is prohibited.
Article 10 – Privacy
WeddingInvite.nl processes personal data in accordance with the privacy policy. By using the platform, the user consents to this processing.
Article 11 – Termination
Users may delete their account at any time. WeddingInvite.nl may terminate accounts if these terms are violated or in case of platform abuse.
Article 12 – Governing Law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
